Travel Info:

• Arrived in Marracuene, we have to cross the Incomati River in a typical African Ferry boat to reach Macaneta.
• Enjoy off road with the Land Rover Defender, a 4 x 4 legend in Africa, before reaching the beautiful beach of  Macaneta.
• Spend a deserved rest or have a walk in the beach with its fishermen and typical fisher boats.
• Enjoy tasty fresh grilled fishes and prawns at the restaurant in front of the river Incomati.
• Going back the same day or spending a night in a beach chale

Santa Maria via Elephant Reserve

This 2+ days expedition is simply a way to Paradise. After a 4 to 5 hours  off road drive through the Maputo Special Reserve, you reach the amazing beach of Santa Maria lying just in front of Inhaca Island. We’ll spend 2 lovely nights in a Camp Site surrounding the beach and have plenty of time to share a real African experience with the local people. Don’t waste time, book now!.

Travel Info:

• After crossing the Maputo bay enjoy the sunrise! But, challenging dirt roads are waiting for us to reach The Maputo Special Reserve.
• A deserved breakfast will be served at the entrance of the reserve while we manage to get in.
• Heavy and tight sand track up front with occasional hippos, elephants and croc’s. careful!
• We reach the astonishing spot of Santa Maria with its natural swimming pool, its fishermen and its long white sand beach.
• Enjoy the beauty of the spot. We’ll propose many kinds of activities interacting and sharing lives with locals.
• 1 or 2  nights  at Nhonguane Lodge campsite will allow you to enjoy the beach and the local life before coming back to Maputo the last morning.

Kruger Park

Only 2 hours from Maputo, we enter to the wild world for an amazing adventure! Watch out! Elephant up front!  Hippos in the water! Lions on the left! Leopard in the tree watching at us!! The south part of the world most famous African Reserve is waiting for you. Charge the battery of your camera, prepare your binoculars and be eyes wide open to miss nothing of this amazing wild life show

Travel Info:

• After crossing the South African border, we reach Crocodile Bridge gate where we come into the Kruger. Get ready to enter in the wild world.
• Watch out your window is opened and a hyena is looking at you. Don’t forget she shouldn’t be alone!
• Don’t scare the wild boar or he will turn around and leave you with the tail straight up meaning that he’s upset!
• Zebras in a wide opened savanna… hum…. We may stay some minutes to see if a lion wants to have lunch.
• Many kinds of accommodations will suit you, particularly the self catering chalets in front of the river where you can see animals.
• After 1 or 2 nights and a full day in Kruger park we drive through the crocodile road to reach the border and come back to Maputo.

Ponta do Ouro

One of Maputo locals prefered beach destination is Ponta do Ouro.

Just 2 hours and a half from downtown after crossing the Maputo Elephant reserve and climbing sand dunes, we reach this amazing spot where beautiful beaches and clear blue water is waiting for you.

Travel Info:

•   After crossing the Maputo Bay with a Ferry Boat to reach Catembe, en route to Ponta do ouro
•   The trip is around 2hours and a half where we cross the Maputo Special reserve and a sea of sand dunes.
•   Arrived in Ponta, have a walk to discover around when we manage the lunch and lodge bookings
•   A deserve lunch will be served
•   Afternoon free on the beach with possibility to access to water sports
•   Dinner
•   The day after, a big breakfast will allow you for a last morning on the beach
•   After the lunch, we go back to reach Maputo around 18h30.
